Fill A Backpack Collection Drive!

Moorestown Mall is once again proud to support Family Service of Burlington County and its annual Fill A Backpack Drive. Donate a new backpack filled with school supplies for elementary, middle or high school students. Gift cards for teens to purchase school supplies and clothing are also appreciated.

Drop off school supplies through Monday, August 1st thur September 6, 2010 at Customer Service.

As summer comes to an end, buses will fill up with children heading back to school. Unfortunately, many parents of children and teens in Family Service programs will simply not be able to afford new backpacks for the upcoming school year. When children return to school without even the most basic back-to-school supplies necessary for class, the results seriously impact education.
Family Service invites the community to “Fill-A-Backpack” for a child that desperately needs support! A new backpack and school supplies will give a child hope and the confidence needed to start school off on the right foot.

Spiral bound & composition notebooks
Pens, pencils, erasers, pencil cases
Calculators (solar & scientific)
Crayons, markers, highlighters
Protractors, rulers
Three-ring binders w/paper
Index cards
Pocket folders
Scissors, glue sticks
Book covers
Facial tissues, anti-bact. hand sanitizer
